My little boy goes completely bonkers with this song doing a little tribal dance of his own around the house. But Wimoweh is just one of those feel-good songs for me, reminding me of my wacky friend Frannie from South Africa who introduced me to it. Baie dankie, Fran. That's Africaans for "thank you" & I drive Fran completely crazy pronouncing it "buy a donkey".
