Just finished reading The Complete Prose of Woody Allen. I could really have enjoyed this book. I'm a fan of wordplay and get quite a kick out of the absurd and the surreal. And Woody Allen is just a dark comical genius. I like that. Problem is not his writing, it's me not being able to separate the waters. Woody Allen stopped doing it for me after that whole Mia Farrow affair, when she accused him of abusing their son. Then he went on to marry his own ex-wife's daughter. I just can't separate the writer from the man. Sorry! But I did give him a try.
